OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
At Sarah Smith Occupational Therapy, we are available to complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) for both children and adults to help guide the development of someone's support needs within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Typically, a FCA is a comprehensive evaluation looking into a person's ability to perform daily activities. It will aim to assess all of a person's functional domains to help identify their strengths and limitations so that support can be put in place to help them achieve their goals.
We undertake these assessments in a person's home environment, this allows us to gain the most insight into how they function in daily life.
